This can be one of the most difficult things for a company to do: to
prioritize the anticipated needs of a conceptual target market over the
existing desires of real users. Yet for a company to grow beyond the
early adopter type of users, it's often crucial to get to Joe Sixpack,
or perhaps in this case, Joe Latte.

At small companies, like pre-Logitech Slim Devices, that strategy
usually comes from the top, e.g. Sean's evident leadership and personal
care for the success of the products. In most large companies, that
charge is the role of product management, which can be especially
challenging if it's a new category of product that nobody's really sure
what will make it succeed. At Apple, Jobs probably sets the strategy
himself, which is more like the way small companies operate.
