The speed test built into squeezeboxserver ? what is this test reporting 3000kbps or 3000kBps ? just checked it is kbps . Now somebody thought it was a clever idea to remove it from the web-UI so it has to be used from a player interface these days . Aha just learned something interesting about this i can not do 5000 to one player but I can do 3000 to my SB3 at the same time as I do 3000 to my reciever ?!? I started one network test from the front panel on the SB3 and another one to my sbr from the controller, however if you only have receivers I see no way of doing simultaneously testing ? So there is some per client limit here ? is this my router or does more than 3000kbps stress the SB3/2/R , this is academical as <3000 is ok for an reciever or SB3 . So to get a real measurement one should try to engage the network test in all players similtaniusly :) -- Mnyb -------------------------------------------------------------------- Main hifi: SB3 (soon to replaced by a Touch :) It is on preorder) Bedroom/Office: Boom Kitchen: Receiver (soon to be replaced by my SB3 and the SBRto be stuffed in a box in the attic ) I use a Controller various ir-remotes and a Eee-PC with squeezeplay to controll this ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mnyb's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4143 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=42853 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
