This sounds interesting.   If I had one of these would it affect
playing music directly from audio files on the computer, i.e., when NOT
going through Squeezeslave?

BTW, I just tried Squeezeplay again, and there's something definitely
not right.   Even AM radio streams are glitching, popping and crackling
AND the volume needs to be turned up to what would be ear-splitting
levels if I were playing through WMP.
