I had noticed this beginning with beta test ads on the 28th and the real ads starting on the 29th. When I bought my first Squeezebox I discovered that Pandora had no commercials when played this way. That convinced me to purchase two additional SB's. I'm very curious why this has just now started.
I gave a friend a SB for xmas and told them they could listen to Pandora ad free. This really sucks and measurably lowers the value of the SB to me. Yes, I'm aware there was no written statement that Pandora would be any different than it is when delivered by other means but streaming ad free for a year certainly gives that impression.
