I've had a lot more success than Cipro with my SB's. I have 2 SB2s, a Boom and a Radio. I keep them sync'd up most of the time, with the Boom and Radio playing together most of the day every day. I listen to a mix of my own library (~100k tracks mixed MP3 and FLAC files) and internet radio streams. I run my own SS. I have a pretty fast and reliable internet connection, and use a combination of wired, wi-fi and powerline connections to the various SB's. I use iPend on my iPhone and iPad. I don't try to use my Radio as an alarm clock.
And everything is pretty darn reliable. There have been various sync issues over the years, and the server has gone through some up and down stages of quality, but in general we use our SBs an awful lot and they generally just work. We love our SB system. I would like to see some updated players (modernized Boom, faster hardware for Touch and a new SB4) as well as some new features (MOG!!), and I think I might over the next year. But even if Logitech disappeared tomorrow, I think I'd get at least a few more years of happy usage out of my system. Something better will come along someday, but for now the SBs are still a very good solution for me. _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
