I'm very glad to hear of your good experience.  When I mentioned
"reliability" I didn't really mean that the hardware was failing more
often, just that the frequency of software glitches seemed to increase
with these products as compared to the earlier products.  They feel
more buggy to me (I particularly loathe the Duet controller) and are
thus less "reliable" at delivering easy access to my music.  A lot of
this is due to the fact that they're trying to do a bit more and thus
there are more opportunities for bugs.  I should also add that I still
think these are far-and-away the best media streamers available.  It's
just that a lot of the "magic" is gone compared to the slimp3 days.

Agreed 100%.  I still love these products passionately (and I'd really
love a return to a VFD-based lineup!).
