Interesting.  I definitely come at this from a specific perspective (my
own, haha) and since I have a small music collection (<300 albums) I've
never had trouble using the jump-to-letter keypad entry scrolling
system on the VFD-based SB's.  LazySearch also solved that problem well
in a different way.  But I can see how it could be more frustrating with
a really large collection.  

For me, the always-on nature, instant response, and legibility of the
VFDs is the big win.  I don't want to have to wander over to the stereo
to control the Touch.  And when I do want to control or browse with a
screen like that I'd prefer do it from my laptop, iPad*, or
smartphone*.

* I don't currently have these devices, but if I wanted a Touch-like
interface I'd buy one of them.
