Interesting. I definitely come at this from a specific perspective (my own, haha) and since I have a small music collection (<300 albums) I've never had trouble using the jump-to-letter keypad entry scrolling system on the VFD-based SB's. LazySearch also solved that problem well in a different way. But I can see how it could be more frustrating with a really large collection. For me, the always-on nature, instant response, and legibility of the VFDs is the big win. I don't want to have to wander over to the stereo to control the Touch. And when I do want to control or browse with a screen like that I'd prefer do it from my laptop, iPad*, or smartphone*. * I don't currently have these devices, but if I wanted a Touch-like interface I'd buy one of them. -- azinck3 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ azinck3's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3967 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=92232 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
