I have a strange issue with vpn flac and sleep. My setup is a Synology nas running squeezserver and a Motorola Xoom running Squeezeplayer and Squeeze Commander. All works fine using my local network, but when connected remotely using vpn I am getting buffer issues when the screen is off with flac files. It seems that whenever the screen goes off, the server stops and after a short while the buffers empty and the music stops. This does not happen while playing mp3 files. I can happily turn off the screen and play continues as it should. With the screen on flac files play normally and the buffers are constantly full, but turn off the screen and the buffers empty until playback stops. Any help in finding the cause and solution will be much appreciated.
