Hi uzi2, I was just about to write that I'm out of ideas in your case and about to summarize the case so that maybe anyone else could help. As we already found out the connection didn't fail for FLAC but was throttled - and the pictures on the xda-developers now also sort of have a proof for that.
My best suggestion now: turn on bitrate limiting for SqueezePlayer, then everything will be send as mp3 to your Xoom. I guess you don't want to hook your Xoom to some high priced playback gear but rather listen in casual situations via headphones or the Xooms speakers, where you wouldn't realize the differences anyway (I guess).
