Well, well. How much do you predict Touch users are willing to pay more than those destitute SB1-3 owners ?? I only use SB3 and Booms, because I like these models. Later ones were, IMO, POS. Except for Touch which is ok, except I don't care AT ALL for a color screen. Audio quality is, as you know, not an issue and we have DACs if needed (since an unsupported TP is not an option.) I am not missing 24/96 and aboveĀ If the new Community Player is supposed to align with HTPCs or smart phones and look like a christmas tree, let me know and I'll stop following the thread. My interest is in reliability, sound quality, home integration. Ah yes, running a nice VU-meter, too. Limiting the amount of what *must* run in the player is important for reliability and lifespan. I change PC every 2-3 years, I change hifi every 10 years at most.
