I have used Erlands basic plan from http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/Setup_browse_menu_for_classical_music, with the addition of a 'WorkArtist'. I'm aware other people have treated AlbumTitle as Work, Track as Movement, and AlbumArtist as WorkArtist, but I didn't want to lose the Album concept entirely, particularly where an Album contains a Concert of many Works. I guess one could still go with using Album information for Work provided some other glue was available to show that the Works are part of a named collection. One other reason for wanting both Album and Work information is that, sad fellow that I am, I sometimes have more than one recording of the same Work by the same Artist (or set of Artists). I want the Work and Movement names to be exactly the same across all performances by any Artists (and I spend hours making sure this is true), so where the Artist(s) are the same I need the AlbumTitle to differentiate between them (my memory for performance years being somewhat limited). Here endeth the classical rant... LMS 7.8 on VortexBox Midi, FLACs 16 or 24 bit. Touch on Ethernet (in another room), digital out to a Musical Fidelity M1 CLiC.
