There are several related tagging issues for which people would have to be able to give structured answers. For instance, I know that some systems recommend using Artist for Composer, and place Artists in the track title (anathema to me, but that just goes to show...). Contributors would need to be able to say precisely how they have used the fields. To show willing, if you want me to define what I do and maybe send some data to you as a sample, I'd be happy to make a small start (you'd have to give me a hint about how to extract and send the metadata). However, it seems to me that you need to find a way to be in contact with a large enough group of people with the same interests, and I don't know how you would do that.
