Ahh I see what you are up to. Don't have bluetooth controls to test with Orange Squeeze unfortunately. In this ticket http://www.orangebikelabs.com/trac/orangesqueeze/ticket/108 it is claimed that OrangeSqueeze reacts to skip commands, when it is the foreground App and the screen is on ... I suggest asking the author of OrangeSqueeze if you can buy his App for testing but getting a refund even after Googles 15min return policy. I'm pretty sure Ben is doing that.
