Hi, My home network consists of a primary wireless router which is my internet access point and a secondary wireless router which is connected to the primary via CAT5 and provides a second wireless access point to the network. The secondary router is not configured for DHCP and its wireless network name and password are the same as that for the primary router (although the wireless channels are different). This configuration has been working with Squeezepad without a problem.
I recently upgraded to fibre broadband and got a new primary router so I had to change the setup as the new router uses a different IP address. My Squeezebox server PC is connected to the secondary router with CAT5. The IP address of the secondary router has been changed to use the same range as the new primary router but nothing else has been changed from the previous configuration which always worked correctly. The problem I have is when I try to run Squeezepad connecting to the primary router it won't connect. If I try and open 192.168.1.2:9000 in Safari it won't connect from the IPad. If it try the same thing from my laptop (wireless) it will bring up the web remote control page. The IPad has internet access when connected to the primary router. When I bring the IPad into the range of the secondary router and run Squeezepad it connects without any problem. Any ideas about what might be happening here ? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Raindogs's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=46076 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=80553 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
