On #1: Yea, I've long since planned to make a more configurable alternative to the Lyrics screen saver. Some day.... AppleTV adds some motivation here :)
#2... This is one of these features.... I don't know... Arguments against it: I don't get it, it makes the whole thing more complex and there are so few people using it.... Also... I'm desperately trying to make the whole rating systems mess _less_ complex, not more, to have a chance to actually add it to Apple Watch, too. Problem is. right now there are like 4 dimensions for this: - Rating stars for local tracks - "love" for remote tracks (theoretically also for local ones but you have to use the context menu) - Add to Favorites - "star" for Spotify (and theoretically other services) Maybe Last.fm no longer is a thing but I know a lot of users still use it (more than 10-scale ratings). Ans how to get all that onto just one button...
