As others have mentioned, stick with SB's (in some form or another, such as RPI's, Wandboard's, etc). The Squeezebox is system is light years ahead of other streamer technology, even today. It has unmatched user experience which is priceless. I have tried Sonos in the past but I sold after one month; it is no match for Squeezebox. Also stay away as far as possible from DLNA setups. It's junk! The Cambridge is a nice device but unfortunately it's using DLNA. With an RPI you could even use the 7" touch screen. It is an SB Touch on steroids :-) http://thepihut.com/collections/new-products/products/official-raspberry-pi-7-touchscreen-display 'M-DAC' (http://www.audiolab.co.uk/M-DAC%20Series.aspx?lang=En) -> 'Focal MP1200' (http://www.mp1200.co.nf/) -> 'Focal Electra 1028 Be' (http://www.focal.com/en/electra-1000-be-2/209-electra-1028-be-3544053695099.html) 1 x SB3, 1 x SB Boom, 1 x SB Radio and 2 x SB Touch - all wireless 2 x Wandboard Dual, 1 x Wandboard Quad ReadyNAS NVX running LMS 7.9.0. iPeng on iPhone, SqueezePad & iPeng on iPad. http://www.last.fm/user/phibon ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Pascal Hibon's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7969 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=104608 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
