Have you actually looked at the protocol and the exchanges that go
between Chromecast devices and Google  ?

Chromecast devices are basically browser with one tab - however the
receiver application that each CCA runs for each app have to be loaded
from a Google server and the exchnages between the CC and Google are
secure.

That's right - but you need Google to get the receiver application (i.e.
the application that Netflix, Spotify have written to communicate
securley with their servers) into the Chromecast device  and these
receiver applications will not be loaded into any old 3rd party device
trying to emulate a Chromecast device.
