sb42, Keep them. I had audio problems on two of my SB3s, originally bought in 2006, back when Slim Designs sold them direct. I found a forum member, who had fried his CB, and was looking to get a parts SB 3 , to get a new Circuit Board. So I sent him my two "bad" ones on the understanding, if he can fix them, ie replace the Caps, I get one back. Well it worked out for both of us, and I am very happy. I also bought a used one of FleaBay which is working ok too.
