then, one other thought. The power cut, is it intentional (turn off pi)?
Or, is it a utility power failure? I ask because I am wondering if it is
a situation where the pi comes on line, looking for internet access, but
the isp/modem is not rebooted. My modem takes forever (maybe 5 minutes).
With my system, when this happens, time gets messed up (touch time
screen saver goes black, radio and boom display the wrong time).

As suggested by paul- (and others) earlier on this thread, you could try
putting your LMS data on a external thumb drive, or a 3rd partition on
the SD (I do this).

Final thought, if it is a utility interruption, perhaps something
happens with the incoming power (transient, or something?) are other
devices affected? Can you replicate the "crash" with, say devices
plugged into a power strip?

I am running pcP's as LMS only, both locations have touches, so our
setup is similar. I have frequent power failures at one location, and I
have yet to corrupt a SD card.

Jim

PS - if only using as a server, have you turned squeezelite off? pcP
(pcP control panel -> tweaks->audio tweaks). Not sure that it matters,
but perhaps others can comment.
