Haven't you used the web interface to SlimServer? You can use it to control streaming to a Squeezebox from the server, but currently there's no ability to control a Squeezebox/SqueezeNetwork connection through the web interface.

Having video out would be one thing, and fairly trivial, but transporting that signal to multiple other rooms, would be quite another. I could maybe see a device that could shadow a Squeezebox's input and output, as described in my last post, but again, it probably wouldn't be cheap enough to make it more attractive than just buying another Squeezebox. > A lot of digital media players have no screen and rely on video output > to use with TV so I guess it's not a rocket science to engineer in > principal Probably most. Which means you need a TV nearby just to control the device. That's the reason why the Squeezebox has a screen instead of using video output. -- JJZolx Jim ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JJZolx's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=24620 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
