I'm running 6.3.1 and XP SP2 and having the exact issue that Benj describes. As long as I leave my PC running, everything works fine. However, if the system is rebooted my SB3 will not connect. This is 100% repeatable.
The only way that I have found to resolve the issue is to manually stop the SS Service, wait a bit, and then restart it. Just closing SS and reopening does not work. I didn't bother reporting because I figured it would go away when I upgraded to the new version of software, but now not so sure.
