Before I get a Squeezebox, I need a little help with a networking question. My current setup is as follows: I have an NTL SACM (Stand Alone Cable Modem) rather than a set-top box. My PC is connected directly to this modem via an Ethernet cable. There are a few unused Ethernet sockets on the back of the cable modem. Can I plug the Squeezebox 3 directly into the back of the cable modem and get full and instant connectivity between it and my PC? Or will I need to also buy a wired/wireless router to create a proper network?
