Apologies if I have caused any offense - I made a rather crude joke
thoughtlessly.

Without wishing to generalise (while clearly doing so), I think it is
fair to say that most audiophiles are men, and most computer geeks are
men.  Guys seem to be more prone to these diseases.  Since the SB3 is
an audiophile geek toy, I would be surprised if their customer base
were not overwhelmingly male.  So occasional laddishness is probably
inevitable on the user forum.

But this thread is valid: it's important to many of us that our other
halves share our interests.  If we can explain what our OHs like and
dislike about the experience, it may help others to gain that
acceptance.  While perhaps the thread could have been titled
differently, it does cover important ground.
