I sympathise (see the sooloos solution on www.sooloos.com) with this
approach. Once issues of network lag will have been completely
banished, I feel this will be the most natural and intuitive interface
(imagine a very large touch screen with ipod touch friendlyness (eg
multitouch interface)). I would love to see a larger, portable touch
screen interface (larger than the controller - which I have ordered and
am waiting for eagerly): this is something Logitech might very well do
one day, and it makes more sense to me than some of the "fat" player
solutions people have been invoking recently.
