I think the problem is that the majority the responders feel that your views are based upon a very narrow idea of what music is for. On example of this is that not all music is made to be heard "live" and therefofe the model you propose will not work for musicians making this the sort of music as they will not be able to gain renumertion for their work through playing "live".
