The fact that the wav skips is indicative of at least some weakness in your wireless setup (mine won't skip with all four SB3's running at once). However, the flac should be easier on your wireless so I'm not sure if that's the main problem. I would try to isolate it before you do anything else. Plug the duet and your server in wired just for a test and see if the skipping goes away. If it does, it's a wireless problem. If it doesn't, it's something to do with the flac encode/decode.
