I'm with you and Moose on this, for my own account.  We had a good laugh over 
some of the silly questions in CCNA (while memorizing their silly answers).  
But 
this what I meant about it hardly being otherwise.  The "good" certs are good, 
IMO, because they manage to test actual ability to some degree, while still 
remaining objective.  (Enough.)  It turns out to be really hard to construct 
that.
