IFF you are a known person in the security arena (i.e. > Steven Christey of Mitre is an example), then you don't need one.
I've been considering getting a CISSP and taking the Cisco track as far as one can without being a hands-on cisco networking guy (given all the tracks that Cisco has now, there should be some advanced certs I can get which don't require hands-on knowledge of BGP). There are too many middle managers that I have to deal with who would be easily impressed by those kinds of things and that would be useful to me. _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lopsa.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/discuss This list provided by the League of Professional System Administrators http://lopsa.org/
