The only thing I've not been able to do is when I delete files using the selecting method, it doesn't really provide any immediate indication the job was done. Not sure why this is, but it seems to work fine. I've been doing some expermenting with copying and such. Also is there a reason why you can just cut a file and drop it somewhere else like you do in windows? If there is a way, I thought it was command x, but maybe there's a reason why this can't be done.

tnx

Hi,

I do't think you're missing anything. this option only works when VO is not active. When VO is active, cursor tracking interferes with the selection process thus things get deselected. If you think about it, once you turn off cursor tracking using VO keys +shift+f3 then hold VO keys+cmd to select an item you are doing exactly the same thing as a sighted user would do as they must hold down the cmd key as well to select multiple non-contiguous items.
