I suppose if I didn't use the terminal to IRC and play games that require automatic reading I could live with it the way it is. Really automatic reading of text should be a thing you could toggle. Sometimes it is useful and sometimes it's not what you want. I like Apple keyboards too much better than modern PC keyboards. I use an old clicky keyboard on my PC because i like that a lot better. Apple's keyboards feel like the older clicky ones and they're very responsive. I just wish that VoiceOver would respect the different keymap. It is a standard layout after all it's not like I'm doing anything weird.
