Check if your mouse cursor is on the agree buttton before pressing.
If you have mouse keys enabled, you can then move the mouse using the
keys on the numeric keypad; you have to hold one down and then
release it and check where the mouse cursor hyas gone. And you may be
able to get out of the dialog with escape rather than force quit;
granted escape doesn't solve the problem but it is more graceful than
force quit.
As for vlc, check the archives; there was a lot of discusswion of it
when you were gone and a lot of us use it. It is also possible to
create playlists in vlc.
