You are correct. I think I got a little key happy there. I just
tried it a few times again and things worked just like they're
supposed to. My settings are normally set to everything tracking
each other. but for this experiment I turned tracking off using VO
keys+shift+f3.
Then just to confirm, I changed my settings so that VO did not track
the mouse and the mouse did not track VO. Everything worked like it
should. I then checked the VO tracks mouse and tried it again and
everything was as it should. Before I asked the mouse to come to the
VO cursor, I checked its position using VO keys+f5 then performed the
move mouse command using VO keys+cmd+f5 then verified its position by
reading using navigation keys. Everything continues to work as it
should for me.
