Ooh. I wouldn't be so quick to write TextEdit off. There are
folks who are using TextEdit with VO. I know Travis used
TextEdit consistently with VO. I'd recommend working with it. If
there are any reproducible bugs then we should document them and
report them to Apple. I've used VO with TextEdit without issue
but I don't use VO and TextEdit together on a daily basis.
