Hi Jane. That's not what the visiovoice manual says.Btw, there's now a specific "convert selection to mp3" in the itunes menus. So if you do want to convert an aiff file to mp3 using itunes, all you have to do is open it so it's playing in iTunes and then go into the menus and do "convert selection to mp3". No navigations with busy signal hazards.
