Hi Cheryl,
There don't seem to be that many steps. For instance, getting brltty
up and ruunning requires a bit more work if I am reading things
correctly and I was able after making sure I was following the
instructions to get it going.
As I understand it, there are two parts to the firevox setup not
counting installation of firefox.
First, install the java embedding plug in. In order to do this, you
first need to set the permissions of the /library/internetplugins
folder and its subfolders to high permissions. I did this by
unchecking the Lock checkbox in the info window. Next, you put the
java embedding files in the internet plugins folder. So far so
good. I have no way of knowing whether it is active.
Insstalling firevox requires download of the cxi file I think it is.
Anyway, once downloaded, from terminal, there is a line:
open -a /applications/firefox.app and the fine name and enter. This
brings up firefox, you press enter and restart firefox twice. If
I've left anything out, it may be because I did not have the info for
it. I do remember you sending a correction but I don't have it.
Thanks!

I'm not sure what to tell you; there are enough steps it would be
easy to leave something out. I'll try to go back through the steps
when I have time and see if i can spot anything.
Worry I can't be of more help at the moment.
