If you don't want to see his posts, just setup a rule in your eMail client to delete his messages. If you are lucky enough to have a server-based spam solution like SpamAssassin or similar, you can just put his address on your "black list" and they will be deleted right on the server without even making it down the wire to your eMail client.
There are solutions. The whole thing is kind of silly in a way (I'm not trying to deny anyone's feelings at all). If your in the physical world and someone harrasses you, its one thing. Harrassment on a list I think is more easily dealt with; the delete key is your friend. This is the last I'll say on this topic.
