Hi David.
Thanks very much for the information and link to the Screenless Switchers
site. There looks as though Darran and Holly have tons of stuff there for
me to get into.
Best wishes.
Andy.

Welcome Andy!
We'll forgive the first time bad language offense <re windows g>.
There is an mp2 of alex reading the manual but I don't have a link to
hand. You can find it though I think at:
http://www.screenlessswitchers.com
Acb radio did a main menu on leopard last tuesday and the producer of the
manual appeard on it.

Hi all.
Firstly, I'm sorry for hijacking this thread. I have a problem with my
computer in which I cannot write direct to any of my lists.
I've just joined this list after listening to Kevin Reeves podcast on
Blind Cool Tech: http://www.blindcooltech.com/, in which Kevin upgrades
to Leopard.
I must say, his podcast really got me going. I've not been so excited
since the launch of Windows 95. His new voice over voice was Alex and it
sounded, in the podcast, fantastic.
I'm currently using JAWS 8 on an XP computer and WindowEyes 6 on a XP
Media Center computer and neither sound as nice as Alex within voice
Over.
I'd love to hear more of Alex and the Leopard OS and how the system copes
with E-Mail, Word Processing, Browsing and importantly for me, with
programmes such as GoldWave and Easy CD Creator.
I'd appreciate any links which lead to audio materials that I can listen
to.
I'm so fed up with JAWS and even WindowEyes and seek a system with as
natural a voice as I can afford..
Any audio materials would be very welcomed.
Thanks.
Best wishes.
Andy.

Both John and Cheryl got the same impression from your post, and so did
I, though I didn't choose to deal with it as directly. I'm glad to
hear it was not as you intended, but I do agree it sort of came across
that way. I hope you've found the information here useful.
