I just want to note that if you're copying applications from drives, that the process will work nicely for applications with such an install process, but odds are if you needed to run an installer or it ran through some initial setup program, that there are secondary support files that may be scattered across the drives that may be necessary for the program to run correctly. Best bet is to keep the original install file - .dmg, etc. cheers, jane
