Leopard install issues, mostly with the dvd drive I'm guessing.  I ended up
using another Mac to install it to the hard drive on my MacBook.
Another one involved the display on my mom's laptop not working during the
install, but Voiceover fixed that :)

Also, that monday night appointment was the only one I could get.  The rest
were at some absurd time during class.
