Yes, that thinner keyboard does have usb ports. They are not in the middle, they are instead at either end now.

Hi,
Using an iMac with the newer model of the apple keyboard, the thinner one with no USB ports on it. I've tried everything but it didn't work had to change the volume in system preferences. Also, the system didn't shutdown, waited for several minutes. was placed in the logon screen.

What mac are you using, what keyboard? Not all keyboards are created
equal.

If it's a portable, depending on how it is setup, you will want to add the
fn key that is the key on the bottom left of the keyboard to f4 to go
down,
f5 to go up with volume. If you are using a full apple keyboard, the keys you want art to the left of the eject key which is at the top right of the
entire leyboard meaning above the num pad.

Hi all,
I've finally got a chance to try Leopard. I've installed it and everything
is working fine so far.
However, when I shutdown the Mac, VoiceOver says login window. Then
nothing
seem to happen. I have waited for a minute but then i turned it off
manually
but that is not the right method.
Any help would be apreciated, many thanks!
