Hey Shane. Welcome to the family man. I listen to your podcast and I
love it. I'm a new Mac user as well with a laptop. To select, what you
need to do is get the VO keys and the spacebar together. That's how
things are selected from lists. I'm not sure about Text Edit. I still
use my Windows machine for now while I'm learning the system.
