Hi John,

JM: Now I just have to
learn these stupid widgets. I put one on here, but it appears to be
gone now and the calendar one comes up when I turn the dashboard on,
and I don't want it to do that. I want the FaceBook widget to come up.

TK: Whatever widget had focus when you left the Dashboard is the widget that will have focus when you re-enter the Dashboard. So if you want the FaceBook widget to have focus when you bring up the Dashboard, you must have been on the FaceBook widget when you left the Dashboard.

• VO-f2-f2 will bring up the Window Chooser menu when in the Dashboard and thus you can navigate to any of the widgets you have active.

• At the bottom of the widget chooser menu, there is an item named Widget Bar which has a sub-menu that will list all the widgets that you've downloaded.

• It is a good idea to close widgets that you will not be using as they do use up resources. Closing them will simply deactivate them but not remove them from your computer. Just go back to the Widget Bar to retrieve them. Now, for the life of me, I can't remember what I'm supposed to do to close a widget so maybe someone else on the list can remind me of the process.

JM: Also, I don't see Cacophony anymore. I must have deleeted it at
shutdown last night> Dang.

TK: Interesting. Did you try using Spotlight to find it?
