SJ: Are there not any firewalls on a Mac?
TK: Yes there are but by default they are not on. By its very nature, MacOS is far more difficult to break into therefore the need for Firewalls is lessened. Although, if you require them for security of your network and other things, you can turn it on in the Security Preferences.
