Hi Tiffanitsa, I can't help you with Adium, as I really don't use
it, but as far as the time and date goes, you can access these in
system preferences.
As for cities, I believe you'll need to type the first few letters
of your city in the field after interacting with it, and then it
should bring up the nearest city to you. Perhaps someone can correct
me if I'm wrong?...
And I believe you can also change the date display settings in that
same dialogue in a different tab. I'll check it for you in a bit, but
hopefully that will help you for the moment...

PS. I just saw that the Macbook warns me when the battery is low and
then tells me when it's on reserve power! I love this! How do I
check the battery level? I have it set to the battery saving
settings
(not the right term, but you know what I mean) and it's incredible
how
long it lasts, even when I'm running things like my wireless
internet,
Skype and downloading all those files. Oh, is there a way to check
the time like I can with Hal or JFW and how to I set the date and
time
so it's ddmmyy? Sorry, but these just came to me.
