Well, I can't speak for the city, though I sincerely appreciate your help. But I think I did find at least part of the problem with Adium. It seems that it's not logging me in. It says log in default and then table, but when I try to interact with the table, it does nothing. How can I check to see if this is true? It seems that no matter what I do I can't get this application to work and I don't understand it. It was working fine earlier today.
