Hi Marshall and Scott, Can you use the Apple Remote (with an Intel Mac) to select the boot volume if using the Option key does not work with the Belkin KVM switch? This came up on the list last year; here's the post in the searchable Mail Archives:

If you use Control-P twice, you'll see my speculated answer to David's question about whether you can also choose a boot volume with the Apple Remote. Other browsers that support shortcut keys to navigate the Mail archive posts may use the Alt key in place of the Control key (Alt-N to go to the next post in a thread and Alt-P to go to a previous post).
