I picked up this one from Newegg

Its a 4-port VGA/USB switch which I use for a small pile of Mac and
Windows servers. Seems to work ok and wasn't horribly expensive. Came
with all the cables which was kinda nice.

fakes the connectivity of a keyboard and mouse to the non active
computer so it doesn't go USB crazy. However, the keyboard did not
support the keys on my Mac keyboard, so I suffer from slow flipping
between computers. A second or two. I can live with it.
Anyway, I highly recommend I/O Gear KVMs and they do come with all
cables which is a plus.

Folks, I'm wanting to purchase a KVM switch. What I'm looking for is
one that will allow me to use my Mac keyboard with my iMac and my
employer's windows laptop. I know many will accommodate both Macs and
PCs, but I was not sure about the functionality with the keyboard. I
don't care if the windows key and alt key are reversed for example,
but I want all the other keys to function normally.
So, if anyone has any advice on which KVM will do the job or knows
whether the keyboard is mapped correctly, I'd appreciate it.
