Shaun, you don't need to set up a Me account if you already have  
a .Mac e-mail address if you don't want to. I'm guessing they probably  
haven't got it set up to automatically configure to it yet. I've given  
up on all there services until further notice except Mail, which has  
worked even though I've been signed out.
