Subject: Re: Addressing envelopes with Voiceover
Hi Estelita,
The cards Anne mentioned in her instructions are the individual name
entries in the Address Book. If you only want to print a single envelope
you can just select a name instead of creating a new group. For example,
you could open Address Book, interact with the Group table and select
"All", then stop interacting and VO-right to the Name table and select an
entry (or card), then follow Anne's instructions. Or you could select
name entries and use the "New group from selection" command from the File
menu on the menu bar (VO-M then press "F" to navigate to the File menu
and arrow down to "New group from selection" and return) to create a
group.
You can also navigate to the Help menu, arrow down and read the Address
Book help entry. The "Managing" link contains information on printing
envelopes and labels. You can select "labels" instead of "envelopes" for
the popup button in the print dialogue.
Also, for anyone who is experimenting with Open Office, see:
http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/unix_open_source/ooolabeltemplates.html
for Open Office label templates, although it may be easier to use Address
Book.
Cheers,
Esther
