passed in as argument(s) to the of
the dock. If the items file name ends in .app it will be
added to the
Applications section of the dock, otherwise it will be
added to the
other section in the dock.
BBUUGGSS
(1) The name is not very good.
(2) The dock restarts if one or more arguments are passed into
the sys-
tem, even if nothing has been added to the dock. For Instance
the argu-
ment passed in did not exist.
(3) If the user has added items into the dock and they have
not been
written to disk then the changes will be lost when the dock
is killed.
